The Pavilion Cafe - Cawthorne

Lovely fresh cakes and snacks, lovely sandwiches, coffee and drinks. Friendly staff, a lovely place to sit and relax after a walk.

A good small cafe adjacent to the main car park for visitors to Cannon Hall. The Pavilion offers hot and cold drinks and a selection of snacks such as bacon rolls and cakes. Good service and pleasant staff. There is some indoor seating but most customers choose to sit outdoors.

We visited on a lovely sunny morning before the temperature rose too high. After a walk from Cawthorne my dog and I needed some refreshments before walking back. I ordered a teacake, latte, cold drink & 2 sausage & black pud for my dog. The lady behind the counter was very cheerful, friendly and welcoming. We sat outside, which had parasols up, to protect against the sun. (There is seating inside as well if preferred) The cushioned bench seats were also a welcome addition and gave the whole place an added comforting touch. The food came fast and was really good. My dog loved her sausages and black pud and I've promised she can go back for more another time. The price was really good for the quality, previously we have used other cafes on site but I think we may stay to The Pavilion now as its much better value for money and the staff are lovely. The toilet facilities are also great if you're an individual flying solo with a dog, I was able to take her in with me (I wouldn't have left her outside) and make sure she was safe, something you can't do at all premises that offer toilet facilities. It makes a different when you're on your own. We definitely will be coming back again, very peaceful and great food!

Really nice takeaway cafe hot and cold drinks good selection of sandwiches, buns and pastries. Few seats and tables outside. Toilet facilities to the side of the cafe.

very pleasant staff, A piece of carrot cake was delicious and not too sweet. A good size of regular cup of coffee.

Very busy today with special event at Cannon Hall Farm but service was still quite quick and the bacon & mushroom butty was delicious!! Lots of other hot & cold sandwiches available plus a good selection of cakes & drinks. Many sat outside today with the nice weather. Always worth popping in here.

Nice cafe near car park and toilets at Cannon Hall Country Park. Easy access. Quick service. Tea reasonable price. Cake slightly expensive. Everything was fine and would probably go again BUT there was an overriding smell of drainage. Maybe cafe or council need to look at it!!

So nice to be able to sit outside, and I would highly recommend the bacon sandwiches. Great for dog owners, water bowls provided and informal outdoor seating but there are a few tables indoors too. Toilet facilities next door.
